President
As President of JCB Urban, Jim is involved in every step of the home building process, from land development to
landscaping. He has more than thirty years of home building experience that demonstrates his proven ability to
respond to market trends by building quality homes at affordable prices.
Prior to forming JCB Urban, Jim served as Chairman and CEO of Saussy Burbank, a nationally recognized company known
for building homes with innovative and distinctive architecture. Jim founded Burbank & Associates in 1988 and
merged with Saussy Construction Company in 1991. Acquired in 1999 by The St. Joe Company, Saussy Burbank has won
numerous awards and has built over 2,500 homes in the Charlotte and Raleigh, NC and Charleston, SC markets. |
